Transfer Facebook Images to Google Photos

Facebook has recently(Thursday, June 4th, 2020) rolled out a new feature that allows its users to directly Transfer Facebook Images to Google Photos. This feature is part of a project(Data Transfer Project) signed in the year 2019 by tech giants Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Twitter.

Earlier in March this year, Google announced the feature for only UK and EU users. But now the feature is globally available.

Here's how you can transfer photos :

For Desktop :

• Click the arrow present on the top-right corner.

• Click Setting & Privacy -> Settings.

• Select Your Facebook Information from the Left Sidebar and click view on Transfer a Copy of your Photos or Videos.

• Enter your password on the next page and click continue.

• Now Choose Destination as Google Photos and choose between your photos/videos and click next.

• You will be redirected to Google Sign Page.

• Now grant Google Photos permission and then confirm the transfer. That's it!

For Mobiles :

The procedure is pretty similar to desktop.

• Click on Navigation Icon
• Click Settings & Privacy -> Settings
• Scroll down to Your Facebook Information Section & click Transfer a Copy of Your Photos or Videos.
